London based company, Bunnyfoot has done a study on in-game advertising. Their study has shown that customers pretty much ignore or don’t see the in-game ads. Good news for gamers.
Before the last episode of the final season of Stargate SG-1 airs on the SCI FI Channel, the famous cast of the history-making television series will have already begun the production shoot for the highly anticipated new films in the franchise.
The X-51 is a hypersonic cruise missile that can strike anywhere in the world in less than an hour. The new missile, which is designed to hit Mach 5 (3,600 mph), destroys its targets by crashing into them at top speed. The Pentagon is hoping to test run the X-51 by 2008.
“Forget rockets. All you need to launch a satellite is a sled and a giant magnetic slingshot…As for the system’s cost, its low power requirements would allow spy micro-satellites to be slung into orbit for $50,000, a small fraction of the current $5-million launch cost.”
